Medallion Psychological Associates, LLC is the independent practice of Susan Walker-Matthews, PhD. At Medallion, our goal is to help you fully understand your symptoms and their affect on you, to teach you skills to decrease your distress, and to help you prevent recurrence in the future. We will schedule your first appointment quickly, prioritize your time, and work efficiently. You can expect to work hard, but you will have the support you need to help you reach your full potential. Our office is private, professional, and welcoming. We are discretely located with minimal signage, off-street parking, and our main therapy room has a separate exit to reduce contact between clients in the waiting area. For our highly recognizable clientele, we take measures to further ensure discretion that can be customized for your unique needs. We are currently accepting children, teens and adults. We treat a variety of symptoms including: anxiety, panic, depression, self-injury, suicidal thoughts, medical illness, behavioral difficulty, transgender issues and transitioning, difficulty with adjustment to life changes, and grief/loss. If we cannot provide the services you need, we will help you find the best possible referral in your area.
